Yazidi girl handed over to family of ISIS member who 'puts her up for sale'
A document reveals that the Turkish Ministry of Family and Social Policies handed over the Yazidi girl to the family of an ISIS member, who abducted her and “put her up for sale” online.
News Center- A Yazidi girl was abducted and brought to Turkey by an ISIS member in 2017. In February 2021, the Yazidi girl was rescued from the family of the ISIS member in a house raid conducted in Ankara.
A document published by Artı Gerçek reveals that the Turkish Ministry of Family and Social Policies handed over the Yazidi girl to the family of the ISIS member to stay with them for a weekend.
The first hearing of the trial against ISIS member, Sabbah Ali Oruç, will be held today by the Ankara 15th High Criminal Court. The ISIS member will stand trial on charges of “human trafficking”.
It is believed that the family members of the Yazidi girl were killed in the genocide committed by ISIS in Shengal.
