News Center- Two women were killed by their husbands in the city of Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Daron Kawa, mother of two, was hospitalized by her husband three days ago. Being seriously injured, Daron Kawa died at hospital yesterday.

According to a witness, Daron Kawa was seriously injured by her husband at home. She had two children aged six and two.

Another woman killed by her husband was 23-year-old Asma Amin living in the Bakrajo neighborhood of Sulaymaniyah. According to local reports, Asma Amin was taken to hospital after being stabbed by her husband. At hospital, she underwent a surgery; however, she died due to bleeding.

In a press conference, Sulaymaniyah police chief Brigadier General Aso Sheikh Taha said that the suspect was arrested and an investigation was launched into the incident.
