Two sisters kidnapped in Afrin
Turkish-backed factions kidnapped two sisters in Afrin, reported the Human Rights Organization in Afrin.
News Center- Turkish-backed factions kidnapped two sisters in the Goliya Jorîn village of Afrin’s Raco town, reported the Human Rights Organization in Afrin. The kidnapped sisters are identified as Henîfe Silêman Silêman (20) and Zeyneb Silêman Silêman (21).
The organization reported that the sisters were kidnapped for working with the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.
Since Afrin was occupied by the Turkish state and Turkish-backed factions in 2018, Turkish-backed faction Hamzet has controlled the village. The members of Hamzet kidnapped the same sisters when they were 15 and 16 years old. The sisters were later released after their family paid a ransom. The whereabouts of the sisters is still unknown.
