Riha - The sit-in protest started in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in the Suruç district of Urfa province by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has entered its 424th day. In the morning, the family members came in front of the Urfa Courthouse from their house located in the Suruç district of Urfa province to hold their sit-in protest. The mother and her son give information about their sit-in protest to the people and lawyers entering the courthouse.
“The government and the President came to power to ensure justice but they have made the judiciary dysfunctional by releasing statements about our family after the massacre against our family members. All the truths have been revealed. AKP MP Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba said that he had been misled. Everyone who remains silent is a party to this persecution,” the Şenyaşar family posted today by using the hashtag reading “#SizSorumlusunuz (You are Responsible)”.
