Sit-in protest of Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar demanding justice for their killed relatives has entered its 219th day.
Riha- Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, have demanded justice for their killed relatives in front of the Urfa Courthouse for 219 days. The family has held their sit-in protest at a place in front of the courthouse called, “Justice Corner of the Şenyaşar family.” The family has kept holding the protest without any banners because they were confiscated by police on the 200th day of the protest.
The family posted a photo of Ayşe Özdoğan, a serious sick prisoner held in the Antalya Döşemealtı L-Type Closed Prison and wrote, “Judgment has been rotted, and moral values have been destroyed. The superiors continue to be protected at the Şanlıurfa Courthouse. Those who carried out the massacre at the hospital are free; those who should be treated at hospitals are in prison.”
