Sanandaj - Women, who have taken to streets in the cities of Iran and Rojhelat, use every opportunity to express their silent scream and demands.

Yesterday, a group of women mountain climbers gathered in Sanandaj to climb Mount Abidar. The women tied a banner reading, “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi (English: Women, Life, Freedom)” to balloons and released them into the sky.

Then, the women began to climb the mountain. They wrote, “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi” on the rocks on their way to express their silent scream and demands. After climbing the mountain, the women called for a march today (October 21) to support the anti-regime protests in the country.
