Shopkeepers close their shutters in Hakkari
All shopkeepers in Hakkari have closed their shutters to protest the prison sentence given to Mehmet Sıddık Akış, the elected Co-mayor of Hakkari.
News Center- Mehmet Sıddık Akış, the elected Co-mayor of Hakkari has been sentenced to 19 years and six months in prison by the Hakkari 1st High Criminal Court today.
The prison sentence sparks protests in the city. All shopkeepers support the protesters by closing their shutters.
