News Center- Since 1995, Saturday Mothers/People have been gathering at Galatasaray Square every Saturday to ask for clarification about their missing relatives and demand justice.

On May 25, they will gather at the square for 1000 weeks. The Saturday Mothers/People have launched an online application, calling on all people to go to the website ‘cumartesianneleri.org.tr’ in order to leave a carnation at Galatasaray Square online.

“We are entering our 1000th week. 1000 weeks are not just a number for us, the relatives of the disappeared,” said Maside Ocak, a relative of the disappeared. “We know that there are people who want to do something for the disappeared all around the world. We have an online app. Everyone can go to the website ‘cumartesianneleri.org.tr’ and leave a carnation at Galatasaray Square to support the demands of the Saturday Mothers from anywhere.”
