News Center- The hearing of the trial filed against Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of former AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç (Kurdish: Pirsûs) district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, on charges of “insulting” İbrahim Halil Yıldız was held today by the Urfa 3rd Criminal Court of First Instance.

At the hearing, the prosecutor submitted the opinion demanding a prison sentence of up to years against Emine Şenyaşar on charges of “insulting”. Emine Şenyaşar’s lawyer Ahmet Taş requested additional time to prepare their defense. The next hearing will be held on December 20.

Since March 9, 2021, 31 investigations have been launched against Emine Şenyaşar on charges of “insulting”. Emine Şenyaşar faces 10 lawsuits on charges of “insulting”.
