News Center- Kurdistan Women’s Communities (Komalên Jinên Kurdistan-KJK) Executive Council member Pelin Zozan, her birth name Pelin Yılmaz, was martyred in an enemy attack on January 27, 2025, the Kurdistan Women’s Liberation Party (PAJK) Coordination announced.

“Our Comrade Pelin Zozan was martyred in an enemy attack on the Medya Defense Areas on January 27, 2025,” the PAJK said in a statement on Tuesday. “We offer our condolences to the family of our Comrade Pelin Zozan, who had played a leading role in the military for 23 years with her determination, courage, strong and firm stance, and to all women. In the memory of Comrade Pelin, our fundamental duty is to build a world, where women and people will be free.”
