Over 3,300 Palestinians killed in Gaza
Over 3,300 Palestinians have been killed by Israel’s airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since October 7, Palestinian Health Minister Mai al-Kaila said.
News Center- Over 3,300 Palestinians have been killed and at least 13,000 Palestinians have been injured by Israel’s airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since October 7, said Palestinian Health Minister Mai al-Kaila at a press conference in Ramallah on Wednesday.
The minister also emphasized that there is a severe shortage of medicines and the problems in transportation to hospitals in the Gaza Strip. “Water cuts and the deterioration of the sewage system have increased the risks of the spread of infectious diseases,” she added.
‘Israel will not be able to absolve itself of the hospital bombing’
Condemning the Israeli airstrikes on Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza, Mai al-Kaila stated that hundreds lost their lives due to the Israeli attacks on the Strip. “We affirm that Israel is involved in the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital massacre and will not be able to absolve itself of the hospital bombing. We demand accountability,” she said.
‘The situation in Gaza is spiraling out of control’
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), gave information about the situation in the Gaza Strip on his social media account. His social media post said, “The situation in #Gaza is spiralling out of control. Every second we wait to get medical aid in, we lose lives. For 4 days @WHO supplies have been stuck at the border. We need immediate access to start delivering life-saving supplies. We need violence on all sides to stop.”
Death toll rises to 4,705
Since October 7, 1,405 Israelis, including 304 soldiers, have been killed and 3,968 Israelis have been injured, according to the Israeli authorities. According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, over 3,300 Palestinians have been killed since October 7.
