News Center- A new investigation has been launched against Şebnem Korur Fincancı, president of the Central Committee of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB) and other members of the committee on terrorism charges.

An investigation was launched against Şebnem Korur Fincancı for her statements on the alleged use of chemical weapons in the Kurdistan Region. She was detained on October 26, 2022 and then she was sent to prison on charges of “terrorist propaganda”.

The second investigation has been reportedly launched by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Şebnem Korur Fincancı and other members of the Central Committee of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB) on terrorism charges. The details of the investigation are reportedly kept confidential.
