News Center- A book signing will be held in Istanbul for the poetry book entitled, “Kül Kokusu (English: Smell of Ashes)” by Nagihan Akarsel, a journalist, writer and member of Jineology Academy who was killed in Sulaymaniyah on October 4, 2022.

At the event to be held by the Mesopotamia Women’s Journalists’ Association, the Jineology Workshop and the Free Women’s Movement (Kurdish: Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA), Nagihan Akarsel’s poetry book will be signed by politician Sebahat Tuncel.

Event to be held on October 4

The event will be held at the Mesopotamia Cultural Center located in Istanbul’s Beyoğlu district at 7pm on October 4, 2024, the second anniversary of the murder of Nagihan Akarsel.
