March organized in Qamishlo for physical freedom of Abdullah Öcalan

The people of Qamishlo participated in a march organized by the Syrian Initiative for the Physical Freedom of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan on Wednesday.

Qamishlo- The Syrian Initiative for the Physical Freedom of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan organized a march in the city of Qamishlo on Wednesday with the motto, "Freedom for Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan"

The march started at Osman Sabri Square and ended at Martyr Rubar Square in the city center. “The Call for Peace and Democratic Society made by leader Apo (Abdullah Öcalan) 120 days ago is the key to a solution for all crises in the Middle East, and this call will become a protective shield for all people,” Sheha Khalil, a member of the People's Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan, said in a statement.

Sheha expressed her disappointment over the ongoing imprisonment of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan and said, “Unfortunately, the architect of this philosophy and this project is still in prison, and until now the Turkish state has given no answer regarding the reason for keeping him in prison.”

Sheha called on the Turkish authorities to take immediate steps to ensure the physical freedom of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan to pave the way for forming committees to work at the Turkish parliament to build peace and a democratic society. "If steps are not taken, everyone will pay the price.”
