News Center- Etkin News Agency (ETHA) editor Pınar Gayıp was detained on Monday after being summoned to a police station in Istanbul following numerous criminal complaints from lawyer Sezgin Keleş, who has harassed the journalist due to her reporting on his conviction for “simple sexual assault.”

The journalist is being held at the Kocamustafapaşa Martyr Sinan Acar Police Station located in Istanbul’s Fatih district and is expected to be referred to the courthouse after a health check.
