News Center- Mesopotamia Agency (MA) reporter Dilan Akyol was detained today, April 14, by police while she was leaving her home in the Muratpaşa district of Antalya province. The reason for her detention is still unknown. The journalist was reportedly taken to the anti-terror branch of the Antalya Police Headquarters.

 According to the March report of the Dicle and Fırat Journalists’ Association, eight journalists were subjected to attack;16 journalists were detained, one was sent to prison in March 2023. In Türkiye, 89 journalists are behind bars.
