IRGC forces set fire to houses of Baloch people in Mirabad

IRGC forces set fire to the house of Baloch people in the Mirabad village of Chabahar, a city in southeastern Iran.

News Center- The Baloch Activists Campaign, a Baloch activists’ campaign group, has announced today that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces attacked the residents of Mirabad, a village of Iran’s Chabahar city and set fire on the houses of Baloch people yesterday, March 12.

Yesterday, the IRGC forces, in cooperation with the Housing Foundation of Islamic Revolution, first surrounded the village with excavators and then set fire to the houses, the campaign group said.

The low-income families suffer from extreme poverty and rising rents and high housing prices in Iran. In Chabahar, a port city and free trade-industrial zone, people also suffer from rising prices. Despite that, the IRGC forces destroyed their houses and set them on fire under various pretexts.
