News Center-Iraqi blogger Tiba Ali, who fled to Turkey due to family disputes, was reportedly strangled to death by her father in the city of Diwaniya yesterday.

According to the media outlets, Tiba Ali fled to Turkey about a year ago and returned to her home country to attend the Arabian Gulf Cup last month at the request of her mother; however, she began to receive threats from her family after her return. 

Yesterday, she was strangled to death by her father. Until now, no official statement has been issued about the incident. According to local reports, her father was handed over to the security forces.
