News Center- The Iranian Teachers' Union announced that Zhila Khair, a teacher and activist of the Teachers’ Union is still held in Adel Abad prison in Shiraz despite the end of the period of pretrial detention.

The union reported that the Zhila Khair, activist of the union in Fars province, has been sent back to Adel Abad prison in Shiraz after her interrogation was completed.

On December 1, Iranian security forces raided the home of Zhila Khair in Kazerun and detained her. Since then, she has been held in custody.

In the statement, the teachers’ union demanded the immediate and unconditional release of Zhila Khair, all students and all teachers.
