Iran to close government offices, banks and schools for 2 days due to extreme heat
Iran has decided to close government offices, banks and schools this week on Wednesday and Thursday due to the extreme heat.
News Center- Iran has announced a nationwide two-day holiday from July 2 to July 3 due to the extreme heat. Government spokesperson Ali Bahadori Jahromi announced the decision on his social media account.
“The Ministry of Health recommended a nationwide holiday on Wednesday and Thursday in order to protect our citizens from the unprecedented heat. The recommendation was accepted by the Council of Ministers.”
It is predicted that the temperature in Iran’s capital Tehran will be around 40 degrees Celsius tomorrow and that the temperature in some cities in the south-west of the country will be around 51 degrees Celsius.
