News Center- A 7-member International Women’s Delegation consisting of lawyers, parliamentarians, ecologists and representatives of civil society organizations visited the Mesopotamia Women Journalists’ Association and the Dicle Fırat Journalists’ Association in Amed (Diyarbakır).

 The members of the delegation were welcomed by Roza Metina, president of the Mesopotamia Women Journalists’ Association, Jinnews director Safiye Alagaş and journalist Gülşen Koçuk, member of the Dicle Fırat Journalists’ Association.

During the visit, Roza Metina gave information about when the Mesopotamia Women Journalists’ Association was founded and its purposes. Roza Metina also talked about the intensified crackdown on journalists in Kurdistan and Turkey.
