Bahareh Hedayat sent back to prison from hospital
Iranian human rights activist Bahareh Hedayat, who was hospitalized on the 13th day of her hunger strike due to her deteriorating health condition, has been sent back to Evin prison.
News Center- Iranian human rights activist Bahareh Hedayat, who has been behind bars in Evin prison since October 3, 2022, was hospitalized on the 13th day of her hunger strike due to her deteriorating health condition.
“My client Bahareh Hedayat was transferred from Evin prison to the hospital on the 13th day of the hunger strike following the deterioration of her condition. She was sent back to prison one hour ago. Despite the advice and insistence of the doctors at this hospital, she refused to cover her head and end her strike,” said her lawyer Zahra Minoui on her social media account.
Iranian activist Bahareh Hedayat started her hunger strike on September 1 to protest the death of Javad Rouhi under suspicious circumstances in prison on August 31 and to condemn the accusations against Iranian journalists Niloufar Hamedi and Elaheh Mohammadi.
