Against rights violations in prison
The hunger strikers sent a message from the prison through their lawyers and families. The message is as follows:
“A five-day hunger strike was started against intensifying rights violations. The hunger strike was started against all rights violations in the prison, particularly against cameras, which is a violation of privacy, inside of the wards in the Women's Closed Prison, strip searches, preventing sick prisoners from accessing health services and the ban on all social activities in the prison. We call for sensitivity and solidarity from non-governmental organizations and the public about this issue.”
