The Saudi Human Rights Commission (HRC) has launched a specialized group to support victims of sexual harassment and their families.

News Center- In Saudi Arabia, the Human Rights Commission (HRC) has launched a specialized group to support victims of sexual harassment and their families. The group will provide psychological counseling and educational, social, and legal guidance to victims and their families seeking the group’s services while maintaining total privacy and confidentiality.

The move aims to enhance the means to protect victims of harassment, increase awareness on the issue and its impact on the individual and society.

In 2018, the Anti-Harassment law which came into effect in Saudi Arabia stipulates severe penalties, including imprisonment for up to 5 years and heavy fines.
