Ankara- The 25th hearing of the Kobanê trial in which 108 people, 18 of whom in prison, including former Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) former co-chairs and members of the Central Executive Committee, are tried on the grounds of the actions carried out to protest ISIS's attacks on Kobanê on 6-8 October 2014, has been postponed to July 3.

The 25th hearing was held at the Sincan Prison Campus today. The court rejected the demand of those who have been held in prison pending the trial for release and removal of judicial control order.

Memorandum about Sırrı Süreyya Önder

 The court also ordered a memorandum to be written to the Turkish parliament to remove the judicial control order on Sırrı Süreyya Önder since he has been reelected as the MP of the Green Left Party in the parliamentary elections held on May 14, 2023.

The next hearing of the Kobanê trial will be held on July 3, 2023.
