‘The main target of the ruling party is always women’
“The main target of the ruling party is always women,” said Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Elîh MP Zeynep Oduncu after the speech of Ahmet Bülent Tekik. “We see the working conditions of our friends in the Kurdistan Region and difficulties faced by journalists. We have recently seen one of the AKP-MHP government's attacks on our people. The government always targets women, looking for ways to kill women. As women, we will strengthen our struggle.”
‘We will keep struggling until peace comes to these territories’
Mustafa Tekik, brother of Gulistan Tara and DEM Party Elîh Provincial Co-chair, also made a speech at the funeral. “I commemorate Hero Bahadîn and Gülistan Tara.
