Two people died after being trapped in a car after the flooding in Duhok. A 12-year-old child died in Erbil after being electrocuted when the flood downed power lines. Wednesday has been declared as a public holiday in Erbil and Duhok after the flash floods hit the cities. The governors called on people to stay in their homes.
