Fire breaks out at Al-Zahra Hospital for Children and Maternity in Iraq
41 newborns have been rescued from the fire that broke out in the newborn ward at Al-Zahra Hospital for Children and Maternity in Iraq’s Najaf city on Tuesday morning.
News Center- Fire broke out in the newborn ward at Al-Zahra Hospital for Children and Maternity in the city of Najaf, Iraq, on Tuesday morning.
In a statement, the Civil Defense Directorate in Najaf has announced that a fire broke out at the hospital in the morning and spread all around the hospital in a short time.
The Civil Defense teams managed to rescue all 41 newborns from the ward, the directorate added. The reason for the fire has not been determined by the authorities in Najaf yet.
