Emine Şenyaşar to appear in court for “insulting”
Emine Şenyaşar, who has demanded justice for her killed relatives for 248 days, will appear in court on the charges of “insulting” AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız.
Riha– The sit-in protest staged in front of Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has entered its 248th day.
On the 248th day of their sit-in protest, Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar went in front of the Urfa Courthouse to demand justice.
Emine Şenyaşar reported that the first hearing of the trial opened against her on the charges of “insulting” AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız will be held tomorrow by the Urfa 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance. “Tomorrow, I will appear before the judges. I will ask the judges who the killers are,” she said.

On the 86th day of the sit-in protest, Emine Şenyaşar lamented. Urfa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation against her for her words. An indictment was prepared after the completion of the investigation. Emine Şenyaşar has faced four year in prison on the charges of “insulting” İbrahim Halil Yıldız.
The first hearing will be held on November 12. And Emine Şenyaşar will appear in court tomorrow at 14:00.
