Riha - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar continues on its 567th day.

In the morning, Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the Urfa Courthouse to hold their sit-in protest. Emine Şenyaşar reacted to the attendance of Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu to the Pomegranate Festival in Suruç along with AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız. “Why don't you find the footage showing how they killed my family members? Where is the footage? How were three members of a family killed inside the hospital? They were innocent. How do you attend the festival with those who did this?” Emine Şenyaşar asked.

“A MOTHER has been waiting for justice from the authorities in front of the Urfa Courthouse for 567 days. We cannot find any words to say anymore. To the prosecutors and judges who cannot provide justice by using the title of Republic... Shame on you! The judicial persecution continues,” the Şenyaşar family posted today on their social media account.
