“Those who killed my children should be arrested”
On the 462nd day of their sit-in protest, Emine Şenyaşar reminded that tomorrow is the 4th anniversary of the murder of her husband and two sons. “We haven’t held a commemoration or received any condolences for four years. We call on everyone to be with us tomorrow. We will receive condolences when my son Fadıl is released from prison. I demand justice for everyone. Justice should be delivered. I will not leave here until justice is delivered. Enough is enough, we also want to sit at home not here. They killed three people, my son should be released. Four years have passed. This persecution should end now. Those who killed my children should be arrested. Why are they not arrested? They killed people in front of doctors. I am ill and hardly come here. If I'm going to die, I'll die here.”
“Morality means to oppose injustice, support those who seek justice,” the Şenyaşar family posted today on their social media account under the #AdaletİcinUrfadayiz (We are in Urfa for Justice) hashtag.
