Earthquake in Turkey affects Syria and Rojava: At least 100 people killed
At least 100 people have lost their lives in Syria and Rojava due to the earthquake that hit Turkey in the morning.
News Center- A 7.4 magnitude earthquake hit Maraş city in the morning at 04:17. The earthquake was also felt in Syria and Rojava. According to the latest reports, at least 100 people have lost their lives and more than 300 people have been injured in Syria and Rojava.
The earthquake was felt in Rojava's Afrin, Syria's Idlib, Aleppo, Hama, Latakia and Raqqa provinces, causing great destruction.
According to the SANA news agency, 42 people have lost their lives and 200 have been injured in the regime-controlled areas in Aleppo. At least 20 buildings have collapsed in the city.
Dozens of buildings have reportedly collapsed and been destroyed in the earthquake. Rescue teams have been trying to reach those under the rubble. According to the reports, at least 58 people have lost their lives and hundreds of civilians have been injured in Rojava and different areas in northern Syria.
