News Center- Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Van MP Pervin Buldan and lawyer Faik Özgür Erol from Asrin Law Office, both members of the DEM Party Imrali Delegation, are on their way to the prison island of Imrali to meet Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The DEM Party Delegation has met Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan in the prison island of Imrali three times, on December 28 2024, January 22, 2025 and February 27, 2025.

During the first second meeting, the members of the delegation were Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Pervin Buldan. On April 15, 2025, Sırrı Süreyya Önder was taken to hospital after suffering from a heart attack. Sırrı Süreyya Önder is still in intensive care at the Florence Nightingale Hospital in Istanbul.
