Death toll of floods in earthquake-affected cities rises to 15

The death toll of the floods that hit earthquake-affected cities has risen to 15. The floods have killed 13 people in Riha and two people in Semsûr.

 

News Center- Floods caused by torrential rains in earthquake-affected cities have killed 15 people in Riha (Urfa) and Semsûr (Adıyaman).

Two people were killed in Semsûr’s Tutu district, where surging waters swept away a container home.

Floods killed 13 people in Riha

Heavy rain flooded the basement of Yavuzlar Apartment in the Tandoğan neighborhood of Riha. The dead bodies of five people were found in the basement. The underpass on the Abide Bridge Crossing in the city was also flooded. The dead bodies of two people were found in a vehicle pulled out of the water on the underpass. According to the official reports, the death toll of the floods in Urfa has risen to 13.
