At least nine Palestinians, including women and children, were killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting the Gaza City and Rafah at dawn on Friday, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

An Israeli strike on the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahiya killed five medical staff on Thursday. Israeli forces ordered everyone, including medical staff and patients to evacuate the hospital, WAFA reported on Friday.

Children freeze to death

According to local sources, a three-week old baby has frozen to death in Gaza in recent days. The baby girl is the third to die from the cold in tent camps in Gaza.

45,399 Palestinians killed

At least 45,399 Palestinians have been killed and 107,940 others injured in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, the Gaza’s health ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
