Activist Maryam Abdi arrested in Tehran
Maryam Abdi, a civil activist in Tehran, was arrested and taken to an unknown location on Monday by Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence.
News Center- Members of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence raided the home of Maryam Abdi, a civil activist in Tehran, on Monday (October 23). After the search, the activist was arrested and taken to an unknown location. According to the received reports, the security forces confiscated some of her personal belongings, including her laptop and mobile phone.
The reason for her arrest is still unknown. According to some local press outlets, her arrest is connected to the case of protest singer Mehdi Yarrahi.
