Accessible Film Festival: Finalists of Short Film Competition announced

The finalists of the 11th Accessible Film Festival’s Short Film Competition have been announced. 14 short films, including three films from Iran and a film from Tunisia, will compete in the final.

News Center- The Accessible Film Festival is an annual event where everyone can have access to cinema under equal conditions. This year, the festival will be held in Ankara from 20 October to 26 October and in Eskişehir from 4 November to 5 November. After the revision of a total of 121 submissions from 23 countries, 14 films from 10 countries have been announced as the finalists of the Short Film Competition.

The names of the films are as follows:

France: “Adieu Gaston” directed by Victor Guilbaud.

Turkey: “As Possible As Everything” directed by Selen Örcan.

Japan: “Birthday” directed by Nobuyuki Morikawa.

Turkey: “Bitter” directed by Burak Oğuz Saguner.

Spain: “Bo and Trash” directed by Tatiana Skorlupkina.

Tunisia: “Conditional Desire” directed by Slouli Houcem.

Iran: “For Child Never Born” directed by Afsaneh Aghanezhad, Vali Bagheri.

Turkey: “Istanbul Istanbul” directed by Demir Özcan.

Israel: “Love Has Nothing To Do With It” directed by Yotam Knispel.

Austria: “On the Edge” directed by Matteo Sanders.

Switzerland: “Sister” directed by Dorentina Imeri.

Russia: “Sleeping Beauty” directed by Jana Nedzvetskaya.

Iran: “Split Ends” directed by Alireza Kazemipour.

Iran: “The Other” directed by Negah Sohrabi.
