In the morning, Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar left their house in Suruç, 42 kilometers away from Urfa province, to hold their sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse.

The mother and her son give information about their protest to the people and lawyers entering the courthouse.

“Fakıbaba (AKP MP Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba) and the Governor of Şanlıurfa announced that what he (İbrahim Halil Yıldız) said after the massacre at the State Hospital was slander. After the massacre, the government supported him. All people in the parliament talk about this incident. Why can't anyone say we support the MP…” the Şenyaşar family posted today on their social media account.
