Şenyaşar family seeks justice for 765 days
“The mentality that thinks itself superior is losing. Where there is no justice, there is no forgiveness,” said the Şenyaşar family today, on the 765th day of their sit-in protest.
Riha (Urfa) - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in Pirsûs (Turkish: Suruç) district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar has continued on its 765th day.
In the morning, Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the courthouse from their home in Pirsûs to seek justice again by unfurling their banner reading, “Justice for the Şenyaşar family”.

“Our sit-in protest for justice continues on its 765th day. The mother seeks justice in front of the courthouse while we struggle for justice along with the Green Left Party. The mentality that thinks itself superior is losing. Where there is no justice, there is no forgiveness,” said the social media post of the Şenyaşar family.
