Şenyaşar family asks government: How long will we wait?
The Şenyaşar family has held a sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse seeking justice for 346 days. “We ask the government, we have been in front of the courthouse for 346 days, how long will we wait for the law to be implemented?” the family posted on their social media account.
Riha- The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in Suruç by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has entered its 346th day.
Emine Şenyaşar couldn’t come in front of the courthouse today due to her health problems while her son Ferit Şenyaşar has held their sit-in protest in front of the courthouse by carrying the photos of his killed relatives.
“We ask the government, we have been in front of the courthouse for 346 days, how long will we wait for the law to be implemented? In Şanlıurfa, the chief prosecutor @yenicerionder is committing a crime by trusting someone. Those who committed crimes against humanity should be prosecuted,” the Şenyaşar family posted on their social media account.
