According to the data compiled by NuJINHA from the news reported in the local, national and online press, at least eight women died under suspicious circumstances in the Kurdistan Region in April.

A woman died under suspicious circumstances in Hajiawa, sub-district of Raperin, on April 10, 2023. Her death has been recorded as suicide.

The dead body of 22-year-old Şilêr Fathulah was found in a river near the city of Rawandiz on April 17, 2023.

A young woman identified as Lara Êlî Reza died under suspicious circumstances in Ranya, a town of the Kurdistan Region, on April 18, 2023.

A 71-year-old woman and her husband died under suspicious circumstances in Kirkuk on April 19.

A young woman namely V.Ş. died under suspicious circumstances in the Bedrîkê village of Akre on April 20.

A young woman identified as Hozan Mustafa Seid died under suspicious circumstances in the Lelkan village of Soran on April 26.

An 18-year-old woman died under suspicious circumstances in the Qeladiza village of Raperin on April 26.
