5 activists held in detention in Tehran for six days
Five activists, including Marjan Ardeshirzadeh, have been held in detention without a trial in Tehran since they were arrested on August 20, 2025.
News Center- Five cultural and political activists have been held in detention in Tehran without trial since August 20, 2025.
Marjan Ardeshirzadeh, Ehsan Rostami, Ramin Rostani, Hassan Tozandeh Jani and Nima Mahdizadegan were arrested in house raids conducted by the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on August 20, 2025 and transferred to an undisclosed location.
The activists have been held in detention although six days have passed since their arrest. Their families have not been informed about where their relatives are held, the reason for their arrest and the charges against them.
