478th day of sit-in protest: Justice and law are dying in Urfa
“Justice and law are dying in Urfa,” said Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar in order to draw attention to the ongoing injustice.
Riha - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar continues on its 478th day. Today, Emine Şenyaşar has not attended the sit-in protest due to her health problems while her son Ferit Şenyaşar has been demanding justice in front of the Urfa Courthouse.
“Justice and law are dying in Urfa. The judiciary, which should be impartial, has been trying to cover up the crime against humanity. The attack and massacre against our family took place before cameras. The truth cannot be covered up,” the Şenyaşar family posted today on their social media account.
