The sit-in protest held by Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar demanding justice for their killed relatives has entered its 344th day. “Those lost before the public is obvious,” the family posted on their social media account.
Riha- The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in Suruç by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, continues on its 344th day today. In the morning, the family members came in front of the Urfa Courthouse from their house located in Suruç district, 45 kilometers away from Urfa city center, to keep demanding justice for their killed relatives. The family held a banner reading, “A father and his two sons were killed in front of everyone. No one has been arrested yet. The mother (Emine Şenyaşar) has demanded justice for her relatives who were killed and jailed (Her son Fadıl Şenyaşar has been jailed for more than three years). Justice for the Şenyaşar family, for everyone.”
Reaction to the judicial fine given to Emine Şenyaşar
“After the massacre at the hospital, Yıldız, who is the representative of his family, won the lawsuit against the mother. An MP, the undesirable person even by the AKP, can win a lawsuit with an instruction. Those lost before the public is obvious,” the Şnyaşar family posted on their social media account by tagging President and leader of the AKP Tayyip Erdoğan, Urfa Governor Abdullah Erin, and Erinç Sağkan, chair of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations (TBB) to react to the judicial fine given to Emine Şenyaşar for allegedly “insulting” AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız.
