The sit-in protest for justice by Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar continues on its 128^th day. “One day the truth will come out,” the family says.

Riha- Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, have demanded justice for their killed relatives in front of the Urfa Courthouse for 218 days. The family has held their sit-in protest at a place in front of the courthouse called, “Justice Corner of the Şenyaşar family.” The family has kept holding the protest without any banners because they were confiscated by police on the 200^th day of the protest.

“Despite this injustice in front of the courthouse, there is hope in every breath we take. Even though the authorities in Şanlıurfa Courthouse don’t hear our demand for justice, many people hear. One day the truth will come out…” says today’s tweet of the family.
