News Center- 158,992 children received polio vaccinations in the central area of the Gaza Strip within two days of the start of the United Nations vaccination campaign against polio, the Gaza’s health ministry said in a statement late on Monday.

The vaccination campaign started on September 1, in central Gaza, with a “humanitarian pause" lasting from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. The vaccination campaign targets 640,000 children under 10.

The vaccination campaign against polio started on the evening of August 31 for children under 10 in the city of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, continues.
