Serra Yılmaz awarded Anna Maria Mammoliti Minerva Prize

Actress Serra Yılmaz has been awarded the Anna Maria Mammoliti Minerva Prize.

News Center- Actress Serra Yılmaz, who has carried out numerous projects in theater and cinema in Italy for 19 years, has been awarded the Anna Maria Mammoliti Minerva Prize, a prize given to women who have achieved success in different fields in Italy.

Receiving her award, Serra Yılmaz said, “I am very happy that such an important award was given to me in Italy. I am very proud to be seen as one of the successful women who make a difference in their fields. As women, we face many obstacles in our fields all over the world, but these obstacles never intimidate us. We have to continue the struggle and we, as women, should always stand by each other. We are stronger together.”

Keeping carry out projects in theater and cinema in Italy, the actress has recently performed her play “Don Quixote '' in Italy.

The Anna Maria Mammoliti Minerva Prize, renamed in 2009 after its founder Anna Maria Mammoliti, an Italian journalist and social activist, is the first Italian award dedicated predominantly to women who operate in “knowledge-related” fields.
