Sit-in protest for justice enters its 308th day
Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar have held a sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse demanding justice for 206 days despite the silence of the authorities.
Riha- The sit-in protest held by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in Suruç by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has continued for 308 days.
On the 308th day of the sit-in protest, the Şenyaşar family went in front of the courthouse to demand justice for their killed relatives again despite the cold weather.
“We started the 308th day of our struggle in front of the Şanlıurfa Courthouse by saying bismillah. Those who remain silent in the parliament, you will not defend yourselves against your conscience, society and God,” the Şenyaşar family tweeted today.
