Male violence in Mersin, Kayseri: 3 women wounded
Man set his family house on fire and seriously wounded his wife and her mother in Mersin province while Nihat Atay was sent to the courthouse in Kayseri province for trying to kill his wife.
News Center- Man named Özgür E. set his family house located in the Eğriçam neighborhood of Mersin’s Yenişehir district on fire using gasoline. His mother-in law Yasemin D. tried to put out the fire while Özgür E. inflicted violence against his wife Berna D. and threatened her to “burn” her. Two women were seriously wounded.
Seriously wounded Yasemin D. called police and they were taken to the Mersin Training and Research Hospital. The man was arrested by police and then he was sent to prison by a court.
Man attempted to kill his ex-wife in Kayseri
Man named Ramazan U. attempted to kill his ex-wife named Nihan Atay, who runs a hair salon in the Mevlana neighborhood of Kayseri’s Talas district. The couple reportedly divorced 10 months ago and the woman got a restraining order against the man. Police and an emergency health care team arrived at the scene after the people called them. Seriously wounded Nihan Atay was reportedly taken to the Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. Ramazan U. was arrested by police.
